GATE VALVE

A gate valve is a mechanical valve used to completely stop or allow the flow of liquid or gas through a pipeline. It uses a sliding gate (wedge) that moves up or down to control flow. Gate valves are best for on/off control rather than flow regulation and are widely used in plumbing, industrial, and laboratory systems.
